Our older age groups of both boys and girls play within the Bayside Easts and Redlands (BEARS) competition. This is a divisional cricket competition, where both age and skill level are considered when grading players. This is to ensure players are placed in a team and division where others are of a similar age and skill level.
Player safety and enjoyment are of utmost importance; and that’s why team allocations will always be made with the best interests of the player in mind.
Games are played against other EDJCA member clubs, as well as clubs from the RCI region including Wellington Point, Cleveland and Redlands.
The BEARS competition is played on Saturday mornings with games commencing at 8:00am, or Saturday afternoons commencing at 1:00pm and are played on grounds located throughout the BEARS region. This allows players the opportunity to experience and play on both a synthetic and turf wicket.
Fixtures run according to school term 4 and term 1 with player registration opening in late July. Families have the option to register for a full season (term 4 and term 1) or a half season (term 1 or term 4).
